Santa was very good to Dan this year. As you may recall, he received plane fare to Tampa, and tickets to see his very favorite band - Yonder Mountain String Band in Ybor City.
Ybor is part of Tampa, like Westport is part of Kansas City. Actually, Ybor is very much like Westport.
Ah - Yonder's Tour Bus. Dan stopped me while walking down the street to introduce me to someone. I thought it was one of the many friends he's met while following the band around. I was introduced as his mom who gave him this cool trip for Christmas. This guy, then says, "Hi, I'm Ben. You'll be seeing me play bass tonight." Really nice kid - and a great bass player!

Dan knew tons of people there. This is random guy on the left, with Gary from Lawrence on the right - sporting a D-Boogy Brim, by the way. Gary has been on the entire winter tour.
