The Payne Family

I am blessed beyond all imagining with my dear friend, Nancy Payne. Tonight we got to spend some time with her precious family having fun, taking some pics and breaking bread. I'm pleased to show you the house that Jesus built - with the help of David and Nancy.Heather and David were back in town to be a part of Grandma Alice's home-going. Heather is from Colorado, and David pastors a church in Massachusetts.Having all the children together is a rare treat, so we took the time to get everyone spiffed up for a few shots.
Laura, Brooke and Makenzie all live here - right now - but Brooke is going back to school in Chicago and Makenzie will start at ORU in just a few weeks.
David and Nancy's nest will be empty for the first time in 39 years!I'm not sure what is so interesting in the image above - so don't ask! There was a little fun and conversation in the meadow.Followed by David being shown how lucky he is! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful family with us tonight! Amen!

Ziggy Hoop Dance

We had fun yesterday when Ziggy came over to show us some new moves - along with a new costume she designed and made. She is talented in every way - but disappointed that she wasn't more flexible - what?!? She also designed and made the wire-wrapped necklace she's wearing.
I guess what she ? lacks ? in flexibility, she makes up for in balance!
Check out Ziggy's Etsy site for custom jewelry and costumes, and for information on upcoming Hoop Classes! Just click on the title of this post and you'll jump straight to her site!

Rachel and Dillon

I spent some time this morning on the Plaza and Loose Park with Rachel and Dillon. They are getting married this afternoon. Here is the lovely Bride. . . . . . and the handsome groom! We had a warm and misty morning. There were tons of kids at Loose Park, but it had started to rain, so it looked like we had the park to ourselves!
Rachel specifically requested the "veil" shot below. . .
. . .and she took time to be goofy with Dillon's shades!
I just love the cornflower blue! Gorgeous!
You can't go to Loose Park without hanging out at the fountain. . .
. . .and using it in lots of shots! Congratulations and Best Wishes to Rachel and Dillon!
