Josiah

This is Josiah - he is getting ready to graduate from Kansas City Christian in a few weeks. I had the pleasure of capturing some images at the JCCC campus.

Josiah is a cool, quiet soul. He was born in Mexico and spent many years in China.

Whatever his future holds, I know who hold his future. Congratulations, Josiah!

Talking Portraits

Just trying out a few "Talking Portraits." I think I like them. I appreciate Molly letting me use her hundreds of images. She loves the camera!
I like this idea of using more than one image for the artwork. These are two of my favorites of Ryan.

This quote seems to summarize exactly the way Makenzie lives her life. She is such a doll - don't you think?

Meet Mark - Senior '09

The spring weather has NOT been very cooperative. Add to that - coordinating schedules is also a challenge, so Mark's senior session was moved from an outdoor park to an indoor art museum . Mark is graduating from Blue Ridge Christian School, and is looking into computer graphics in college.

We were fortunate that the sun came out for a few minutes of outdoor shooting. The ever-popular grunge effect.

All I can think of when I see this one is "Guitar Hero". Congrats, Mark!

What A Difference a few weeks make!

I posted some images from our late March snowstorm - - just wanted you to see that my pink crabapple tree that I love so much made it through the storm!

Aunt Mary and her girls

I was privileged to help my friend, Laura take a four-generation session of a branch of her family tree. This is her Aunt Mary, with her daughter Linda; Linda's daughter Shannon, and Shannon's daughter Cheryl. Here is a cute one of Shannon and Cheryl.
Cheryl brought this great silver jacket.

and she brought her pom-poms!

I really love this picture of Mary and her Grand-daughter, Shannon.

Thanks for letting me be in on this session, Laura!

Easter - the kids come home to eat!

Chris with his new pony-grunge look. Ziggy with her cute artist look.

and Dan with his usual artist grunge look.

Just a little college for them to remember the day!

A Fine Day for Hoop Dancing!

I was busy this beautiful April afternoon - STILL trying to get the taxes done - when Dan and Ziggy came in. The first thing they asked for was grilled cheese - then it was time for a little 'Hoop Dancing!' Ziggy has Hooped with bands, at festivals, in You Tube videos (google Ziggy Hoop Dance) and she also teaches this fun and energizing style.
I like her "Hooping in Colorado" You Tube video the best. She is amazing!

And maybe you haven't seen an image of Dan for awhile - so here he is! Love both of them so much!
